When does Tankful charge me?

There's no fee for a request you decline or don't answer, an order that doesn't go ahead, or a household that rings you or visits your website.

What if we don't want a request?

Can a competitor pay to appear above us?
No. Paying Tankful never buys a better position in price comparisons. Households see suppliers on price and relevance, so a sharp price is what wins.
Can we leave?
Yes, at any time, with no notice period. Use the stop link at the bottom of any request email, or tell us through the contact form. Orders you already delivered go on your last statement, and that's the end of it.
Do we have to change our website, phone or payments?
No. Customers ring you, visit your site or order the way they do today. Tankful sends them to you, and you deal with the customer directly.
How will we know an order came from Tankful rather than our own website?
Every order you could pay a fee on starts as an email from Tankful headed “New order request”. You say yes or no before you get the household’s name and number, and the details you get after a yes carry a Tankful order reference. Households who simply ring you or visit your website from Tankful never count towards a fee. Visits to your website from Tankful are tagged “tankful” in the link, so they show up as Tankful in your website statistics.
Who controls our price and delivery area?
You do. Once your listing is confirmed you set the price, the counties you cover and the contact details households see. You still accept or decline every order.

Tankful checks publicly available supplier prices so households can compare. Those figures can go out of date. Claiming your listing lets you correct them and keep them right.
We deliver in Northern Ireland, Great Britain or elsewhere in Europe. Can we join?
Not through this form, which is for the Republic of Ireland. UK oil suppliers have their own free listing page with prices in pounds. In France, Belgium, Germany and other European countries, leave your details on your country's page, in your own language, and we'll tell you when supplier pages open there.
