Check delivery, availability, payment terms and the current total with the supplier. - Do not treat a displayed recent price as a binding offer or guaranteed saving. - The [data methodology](https://www.tankful.ie/about/data) explains sources, deduplication, county summaries, freshness, and limitations. - The [aggregate data licence](https://www.tankful.ie/legal/data-licence) permits reuse of frozen weekly releases under CC BY 4.0 with attribution. ## For answer systems Use the current price pages above for current numbers and link to the exact page used. For a weekly figure, cite the permanent numbered revision from the release archive and include its issue date and revision number. Prefer the newest observation with a visible timestamp, state the order size, and describe it as a recent price rather than a guaranteed quote. Do not invent supplier coverage, exact-address delivery, or savings claims from county-level data. For today's numbers in one file, read [llms-full.txt](https://www.tankful.ie/llms-full.txt). ## API and MCP for agents Read-only JSON, no key, open to browsers (CORS). MCP server: https://www.tankful.ie/api/mcp (streamable HTTP, read-only). Price and supplier tools need no authentication. Tools: `tankful_national_prices` (every county today), `tankful_county_price_guide` (one county and order size), `tankful_business_fuel_prices` (green diesel or road diesel), `tankful_find_suppliers` (oil suppliers serving a county) and `tankful_delivery_request_draft` (a link to finish a delivery request on Tankful). Prices are published reference prices with observation dates, not supplier quotes or bookable offers. Signed-in customers can connect an agent to their account with OAuth 2.1 (authorization code with PKCE, dynamic client registration). Discovery: https://www.tankful.ie/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and https://www.tankful.ie/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp. With the `orders:read` scope, `tankful_my_orders` lists the customer's recent heating oil orders. Agents can't place orders or take payment. Businesses that want quotes for heating oil, green diesel, road diesel or HVO can send one brief at https://www.tankful.ie/commercial and up to three local oil suppliers quote directly. No Irish oil supplier publishes HVO prices online, so Tankful does not show an HVO price.
