Supplier Data, Licensing, and Removal Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

What supplier data we collect

Tankful may collect and publish supplier names, public websites, service counties, depot or base locations, public prices, minimum litres, fuel types, delivery options, source URLs, timestamps, and reliability/confidence metadata. We may also accept supplier-submitted updates and claimed-profile information.

Sources and provenance

Supplier data may come from supplier websites, public ordering pages, public directories, customer-visible supplier materials, supplier submissions, portal updates, and internal verification. We aim to show source, timestamp, confidence, and freshness signals where they help customers understand reliability.

Licence and restrictions

Tankful's compiled price history, confidence scoring, normalisation, routing keys, and presentation are Tankful database and product assets. Do not scrape, bulk copy, republish, or use Tankful data to build a competing pricing service without written permission.

Corrections, claims, and removal

Suppliers can request correction, source attribution, claim verification, suppression of inaccurate data, or removal of non-public or unlawful material through the contact form. We may ask for proof that the requester is authorised to act for the supplier.

How we assess requests

We consider accuracy, public availability, customer benefit, supplier rights, copyright/database rights, confidentiality, data protection rights, unfairness, and operational safety. We may correct, annotate, pause, delist, or retain data where there is a lawful and proportionate reason.
