Tankful helps you compare recent heating-oil prices and information from oil suppliers. You can then visit a supplier's website, contact the supplier, or ask Tankful to pass an enquiry to a supplier.

Tankful does not currently take public online payment for heating-oil orders.

Oil suppliers listed on Tankful are businesses. The supplier you choose is the seller of the heating oil and is responsible for accepting your order, confirming the final price, arranging delivery, taking payment, and handling cancellations, refunds, fuel-quality issues, and complaints about the supply or delivery.

A contract to buy heating oil is between you and that supplier. Tankful is not the seller and does not become a party to the fuel sale merely because you found the supplier or sent an enquiry through Tankful.

Tankful is responsible for operating its comparison, directory, alert, and enquiry services; explaining the source and age of displayed price information; passing an enquiry to the supplier you select; and handling questions about the Tankful website or an enquiry record.

A supplier pilot is available only where the relevant checkout says it is enabled. For any such pilot order, the named supplier is the fuel seller and delivery provider. Tankful provides comparison, the order workflow, order-status tools, and payment facilitation where the checkout says it applies.

If the checkout offers payment facilitation, the customer authorises the amount shown before delivery. The supplier must accept the order before fulfilment continues. Final capture follows recorded delivery and actual delivered litres, and cannot exceed the authorised maximum without the customer's approval. Stripe handles card details and may perform fraud, identity, dispute, and compliance checks.

The supplier directory defaults to recent prices for the selected area and order size. Suppliers with a recent matching price appear before suppliers without one, and lower prices then appear first. You can instead sort by supplier name. Suppliers cannot pay for a higher position in price-sorted results. See How prices work for price sources, freshness, and listing status.

• Check the supplier's legal or trading name and contact details.
• Confirm the final price, including VAT and any delivery or access charge.
• Confirm the fuel type, litres, delivery address, delivery window, and payment method.
• Read the supplier's cancellation, refund, access, and complaint terms before ordering.
• For an enabled pilot, check the named supplier, payment facilitation, and any platform or no-access fee.

Prices displayed by Tankful are comparison information, not binding offers. The supplier must confirm the price and availability before you place an order.
