Ring Round Service Terms

Tankful is operated by Donncha O'Toole, a sole trader trading as Tankful, Bellevue House Mews, Bellevue Demesne, Delgany, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. You can reach us at [email protected] or 083 448 6980.

You tell us what heating oil you need. We ring local oil suppliers during their office hours, text or ring you with the prices they give us, and book the supplier you pick. The oil supplier sells you the oil and delivers it. Tankful does not sell oil and does not take payment for the oil.

Prices are what each supplier told us on the day. A supplier can change a price before your booking is locked in. If that happens we tell you the new price and book nothing until you agree to it.

The fee is €9, the full price of the service. When you send your request, €9 is held on your card. It is not taken.

We take the €9 only when your booking is locked in: you have confirmed the supplier and the price, and the supplier has confirmed the delivery day, the price and your address. We take it once.

If no booking is locked in, for any reason, the hold is released and you pay nothing. That includes when fewer than two suppliers give a price, when none of the prices suit you, when you cancel, or when no supplier can take the delivery.

You can cancel free at any time before your booking is locked in, by text, email or phone. The hold is released.

When you send a request you ask us to start straight away. The service is complete when your booking is locked in, so from then on the €9 is not refundable just because you change your mind. You can still cancel the delivery with the supplier on their own terms.

If the lorry doesn’t come and the supplier won’t give you a new day, we refund the €9. If a supplier tries to charge more than the locked-in price, tell us. We have the price they gave on a recorded call and both confirmations, and we take it up with them and refund the €9.

While we ring round, suppliers are told only your area, the fuel, the amount and when you need it. Your name, full Eircode, mobile and delivery notes go only to the supplier you pick, so they can deliver. Calls with suppliers are recorded so the prices are accurate, and are deleted after 30 days unless there is a dispute. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and your rights.
