How much is heating oil in South Down and Newry?

See supplier-published amounts for each exact order size in the price table. Each supplier's delivery area, VAT and charges can differ, so confirm your address and final total directly. A price listed for a supplier is not a quote for every address in South Down and Newry.

Is there VAT on heating oil?

Heating oil for qualifying domestic use is charged 5% VAT. The 2,300 litre rule lets small deliveries qualify automatically; a larger domestic delivery does not automatically mean 20% VAT. Business use is usually charged 20%. Ask your supplier to confirm the rate and whether VAT is included.

How much should I order?

Minimum orders vary by oil supplier. Many start at 500 litres, and some deliver smaller amounts at a higher price per litre. A bigger order usually costs less per litre, as long as your tank has room for it.

Can Tankful order oil for me?

For now, order by phone or through the oil supplier’s website. We’re working towards ordering through Tankful and supplier-branded storefronts. Your chosen oil supplier remains the seller and confirms the price and delivery.
